About Señor Sisig (SF Ferry Building)
If anyone has redefined contemporary street food in San Francisco, it’s longtime pals Evan Kidera and Gil Payumo’s Señor Sisig fusion food truck. With their special twist on a Filipino happy hour dish sisig, Señor Sisig took the portability of their favorite Mexican taqueria dishes and melded the two together to reflect their diverse palette and down-home appeal. Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In San Francisco, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across California run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.

San Francisco is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around San Francisco is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

The BEST casual vegan food I had in all of SF. The staff was super friendly and the food was amazing. Big portions and lots of vegan ficken. The burritos and nachos and pandan tea and mangonada were amazing.

I've been here a few times, sadly each time has been disappointing. Don't get me wrong the location is nice. Service is decent. Sadly, the first time I was here they advertised having a breakfast burrito but it wasn't even available until 11:30am. That's barely breakfast anymore. We had the tocino burrito and it wasn't up to par as what we've had in the past. This time I had the pork senor sisig burrito and pity was sad. Adobo rice was mushy. It was mostly beans and rice.. hardly any pork. I ordered cheese nachos with the cheese on the side. The cheese was watery. Maybe I've been on off days, but to be honest the times I went it wasn't even that busy. I leave it up to you.

The burritos were nice, and delicious. We can have a quick lunch with thier heavy burritos. Outdoor seating very nice, view of the Bay bridge.

Pretty decent option specially during the lunch rush hour. I got a veg burrito. Happy with my choice. You wouldn't want to miss on some of their sauces. You may get intimidated by the queue during lunch hour but their service is pretty fast. I don't expect you would have to wait more than 20 min from the queue to getting your meal :)

Always my go to fast Filipino go to spot. The burritos are a pretty good size, full of flavor and stuffed with the perfect amount of meat and extras. I normally get the California burrito but decided to try the tosilog today. I do like it but not as much as the California burrito. I love the adobo rice in it. I love that you can choose your level of spice. They’re always pretty fast to get your food out to you. Specialty drinks are always good here too.
